2. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product names, descriptions, images, specifications, compatibility information, prices, and availability are accurate.
However:
- Product images may differ slightly from the item supplied.
- Manufacturers may revise packaging or specifications without prior notice.
- Colours may vary depending on the display used.
- Customers must verify compatibility before ordering.
Information supplied by manufacturers is provided for guidance. Contact RotorX before ordering when you are uncertain about compatibility.
3. FPV Product Compatibility
FPV products often require specific combinations of:
- Voltage and battery cell count
- Motor KV
- Propeller size
- Flight controller and ESC ratings
- Radio protocols and frequencies
- Video transmission systems
- Antenna connectors and polarization
- Firmware and configuration
RotorX is not responsible for damage caused by incompatible parts, incorrect installation, incorrect wiring, reverse polarity, unsuitable firmware, excessive voltage, improper configuration, or use outside the manufacturer’s specifications.
4. Prices
All prices are displayed in Sri Lankan Rupees unless stated otherwise.
Prices may change without prior notice due to exchange rates, supplier pricing, shipping costs, taxes, customs duties, and market conditions. A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted and fully paid, except where an obvious pricing or system error has occurred.
5. Orders
Submitting an order does not automatically guarantee acceptance.
We may cancel or reject an order where:
- A product is unavailable
- Payment has not been received or verified
- The price or product information contains an obvious error
- Fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected
- Delivery cannot reasonably be completed
- The order breaches applicable law or these terms
Where RotorX cancels a paid order because we cannot supply it, the amount paid will be returned or otherwise resolved in accordance with applicable law and the payment method used.
6. Payments
Orders must be paid using the payment options displayed on our website or communicated by RotorX.
Customers must provide accurate payment and billing information. An order may be held until payment is confirmed.
Bank-transfer customers should use the correct order reference and provide proof of payment when requested.
7. Pre-Orders
A pre-order reserves an item that is not currently available for immediate delivery.
Estimated arrival dates are estimates only and may change due to manufacturing delays, international shipping, airline restrictions, customs procedures, supplier delays, or events outside our control.
Unless required by applicable law:
- Pre-order payments are non-refundable.
- Pre-orders cannot be cancelled or exchanged because the customer changed their mind.
- Delivery timelines are not guaranteed.
- Discounts introduced after the pre-order was placed will not be applied retrospectively.
- A pre-order may not be transferred to another product without written approval from RotorX.
Where RotorX permanently cannot fulfil a pre-order, we will offer an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement, store credit, or refund, as required by applicable law.
8. Delivery
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
RotorX is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, incorrect addresses, unavailable recipients, severe weather, transport disruption, public holidays, customs matters, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customers must provide a correct and complete delivery address and reachable telephone number.
Risk of accidental loss or damage passes in accordance with applicable law and the delivery arrangement used.
9. Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers should inspect the package and product as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
Visible courier damage, missing items, or incorrect products should be reported to RotorX within 24 hours of receipt, together with:
- The order number
- Photographs of the outer package
- Photographs or video of the product
- A clear description of the issue
- An unboxing video where available
Do not install, solder, modify, flash, disassemble, or use a product that appears damaged or incorrect.
10. Returns and Warranty
Returns and warranty claims are governed by the RotorX Return and Warranty Policy published on our website.
Unless required by applicable law, we do not offer cash refunds for change-of-mind purchases. Approved manufacturing-defect claims are generally handled through item-to-item replacement, repair, or another suitable warranty remedy.
11. Local Purchases
Our voluntary return process applies only to products purchased directly from RotorX within Sri Lanka.
Products purchased from another seller, overseas supplier, marketplace vendor, or third party must be returned to the original seller.
12. Warranty Exclusions
Warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Crashes, impacts, water, moisture, fire, or excessive heat
- Incorrect soldering or wiring
- Reverse polarity

FPV equipment is used in a high-risk environment. Crash damage and user-installation damage are not manufacturing defects.

- Use a compatible balance charger
- Never charge unattended

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RotorX will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from product use, flight operations, crashes, installation errors, loss of footage, loss of profits, or loss of opportunity.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
